ExperienceI have experience tutoring individual elementary, middle, high school, and college students in biological sciences. I tutor because I am great at encouraging and working patiently with students. I love learning and I know that tutoring provides a rewarding experience for myself, and more importantly, for the student. The following classes that I have excelled in qualify me to tutor in biology and chemistry; General Biology I & II (including Lab I & II), General Chemistry I & II (including Lab I & II), General Physiology (including lab), Organic Chemistry I & II (including Lab I & II), Genetics, Functional Neuroanatomy, Cardiovascular Physiology, Microbiology (including Lab), Cellular Molecular Biology of Cancer, Immunology, Biochemistry, Developmental Biology (including Lab), Cellular Biology, Gross Human Anatomy, Histology and Pathology.
HobbiesCurrently, I am a third year dental student. Prior to beginning dental school I worked at a dental practice in Westchester for special needs children. I volunteer frequently through my church, at after school programs in the community, and participate in multiple outreaches through my school including habitat for humantiy. I also enjoy traveling. Two years ago I went on a month-long service trip to Armenia where I volunteered at a summer camp for underprivileged children. I also organized a study abroad trip for myself to Guadalajara, Mexico where I took a Spanish language class. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or require any additional information.
