I currently teach freshman writing at SUNY Geneseo. I am a former Professor of Composition courses in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric at Stony Brook University. I am the former Assistant Director of the Writing Center at SUNY College at Old Westbury, where I’ve helped students with their writing assignments for a wide range of subjects and courses. I am a former Writing Tutor at Suffolk County Community College. I have served as a Grader for the AP exam in English Language and Composition. I have participated in teaching workshops for high-school students to help them write their personal statements for college since 2013. I have presented at four major conferences on writing (international, national, and regional) in the past five years.
