EducationUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Bachelor of Science, Physics
ExperienceI am in my third undergraduate year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My major is Physics. I am a passionate tutor and aspiring physicist. My goal is to simplify those things that other people find impossible. There are usually multiple ways to come to a conclusion when dealing with questions in mathematics and science. My method involves sharing all of the approaches with students so that they can solve problems in their own way. It is not an appropriate method to simply sway the minds of students to view things from your own mindset, as an instructor. You must allow students to make choices in their own right.I like to explain solutions to students so that they not only know how to solve problems but they also know why these procedures are applicable. This encourages learning for life rather than simply for the moment. It also garners a sense of independence in growing people. I really enjoy teaching individuals. Why should I waste all of the valuable information I possess when it can be used to better other's lives? My preferential location for hosting sessions is at public libraries. However, I am not opposed to meeting in other public locations.
