I have tutored at-risk children ages 5-17 in multiple subjects. I am somewhat fluent in Spanish. I thoroughly enjoy being a tutor and a mentor to children of all ages because there is no better gift than the gift of knowledge. Not all children learn the same and it is always nice to get another perspective outside of the classroom. I have taken child psychology, lifespan development, and child development. These classes have prepared me to engage with children and adolescents through understanding of their developmental properties.
