Private tutor in Buffalo, NY
University at Buffalo - Current Undergrad, Accounting
I started to tutor in eight grade when I'd help first graders with reading. Having grown to love working with children, I continued to tutor 5-16 year old students and help in elementary level math, algebra, literature, and other subjects. I work with students of all ages and have a flexible, patient, and easy going style. My experience includes working with every type of student and I have the skill set to help them thrive no matter what. As long as one puts enough effort into something, they can succeed and my philosophy is anyone can accomplish whatever they try hard enough at. I help students do well in class and build study skills that work for them. Currently, I'm a sophomore at the University of Buffalo. I am majoring in accounting and math, and my goal is to become an accountant. In my junior year in high school, I studied abroad in Denmark to explore the local culture and language and graduated as valedictorian. I love music as well and play 11 different instruments. My other hobbies include photography, mountain biking, skiing, drawing, hiking, swimming, and doing anything outdoors. I show excitement through teaching and dancing around the room to music all day!
